Kylie Minogue: Back To Work Chic

Kylie Minogue skipped back into the public eye in spectacular fashion with a 30 second preview of her next single ‘All The Lovers’ getting praise from the public and music critics. So many people logged onto her official site this week that the server crashed!

And we think the outfit she wore as she left her house for the playback deserves a fashion thumbs up. It’s power dressing at it’s best – feminine yet business like.

The beige dress embraces this season’s nude trend and the fabric is loose and silky so even if she was sweating on the inside as she waited for the reactions to her latest track, she wasn’t  looking hot and bothered on the outside.

As an alternative, we recommend the Kookai Bandeau Culotte Playsuit. The fabric is so breathable, you can wear it all day long from strutting down the street to Spinning Around the dancefloor.

Or why not be brave with a short lacy number. Not only is lace all the rage this season, it lets air get to your skin to cool you down. Try this Rare bodycon dress

Be clever like Kylie and complete the look with a lightweight Fuse by Fuse by Preen summer coat, we all know that layering is vital for the British summertime – days that start sunny don’t always end that way!

The Aussie diva announced her single ‘All the Lovers’ is out on 28 June, with her next album ‘Aphrodite’ on 5 July.

But as she’s looking so hot right now, we wonder if the former Neighbours soap star is trying to impress a certain Mr Cowell given that her sister Dannii will be on maternity leave during X Factor  audition stages.

Kylie is proving she’d look great on television. Let’s face it, her elegant suits are safer than Cheryl Cole’s riskier choices.

At 5ft, she is evidence that great things come in small packages and Very has a fabulous range of clothes for petite women.

This South linen dress comes in a pack of two for just £25, making it power dressing at  a price that makes you sing Wow!
