That time of year is coming round again – Father’s Day on the 20th June, and I don’t know about you but I always struggle to find my dad something that he would like! Anything he does want, he usually buys himself which leaves me floundering for something to buy come Father’s Day.
I was quite impressed then to find a whole section at Very.co.uk dedicated to gift days for dads, which I think is an excellent idea because it’s something he’s never going to buy for himself and is also a little bit special and something that he will remember for years to come.
There are quite a few different options which I reckon would fit in with most dads. My Dad is a bit of a car fanatic so an experience day driving a Ferrari or Lamborghini would be perfect and there’s also an Aston Martin one for all those James Bond fans out there!
For thrill seeking dads why not book him a bungee jump or let him take charge of a monster truck or perhaps if he’s pretty energetic go for a sphereing experience, where he’ll be strapped into a giant inflatable ball and pushed down a big hill!
Football loving dads might be tempted by a tour around their favourite teams’ football stadium where they’ll get the chance to revel in the clubs successes and see where it all happens – participating football clubs include Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Mix up nature with some big thrills and let your dad get up close and personal with some of the world’s most dangerous animals like the lions and tigers in a big cat adventure or let them take the plunge by diving with sharks at the Blue Planet aquarium – I don’t think that’s something they’ll forget in a hurry!
There are loads of other options too, whether its activity based like learning archery or paintballing or if you think your dad deserves to be pampered with a spa day, there’s something here for every dad – Father’s Day dilemma, sorted!
