Corrie Star Michelle Keegan’s Birthday Outfit

It must be hard having Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan as a friend as she’ll always upstage you in the fashion stakes.

The actress, who’s twice been voted Soap’s Sexiest Female, attended her Corrie castmate Anthony Cotton’s 35th birthday at the weekend.

While he wore a suit to his bash onboard a steam train at Bury’s Bolton Street Station, foxy Michelle stood out when she arrived in a caramel coloured jacket.

The Street’s Kym Marsh made an effort with an LBD and Helen Flanagan showed off some leg thanks to  5 inch Christian Louboutin beige shoes, but it was Michelle who got all the flashbulbs popping when she arrived.

There’s nothing like a light jacket to cover up when it’s approaching autumn. Save blacks and browns for winter  and try a South suede waterfall jacket

If you really want to make a statement, check out this 80s style fur jacket – it’s wild!

Slightly more conservative but still with some sexy ruffle detailing is this South frill detail military jacket

As the jacket’s so striking, all you need to complete the look is a black dress. The Love Label side embellished dress is cool and easy to throw on (and off!)

Michelle has a helping hand in the fashion stakes as she’s an old friend of Vicky Martin, whose glamorous going out dresses you can buy at Very.

Vicky styles her for some red carpet events and gives her fashion advice. Modest Michelle has  previously said: “I don’t wear make-up, I live in tracksuits and most of the time I look an absolute mess. I’m not the sort of person who gets glammed up to go to the shops or puts make-up on when I get up.”

Gorgeous and modest – if she wasn’t so nice we’d hate her!

I so much agree with you just said about her. Anyway I love her style and the way she carries herself. Thank you for sharing the different kind of jackets we could possible use over our plain black dress or any other dress. The idea of having to wear it over a cute dress, won’t alter the dress beauty but will eventually boast it up! Giving your look a new appeal and very catchy too!
