Hot Celebrity Fragrances

All of you avid celebrity followers, and even those of you of you who aren’t, can’t fail to have noticed the huge influx of celebrities launching their own fragrances. It must be brilliant to get into a perfume lab and play about until you create a scent you love!

In the past few weeks Jennifer Aniston became the latest celeb to launch her own fragrance and it has just been announced that popstar Britney Spears will be launching her ninth perfume in September.

But the question is, just because they have been made by celebrities, are they any good? Well our customers here at Very let us know what’s hot and what’s not by rating celebrity fragrances.

Here are our top celebrity fragrances!

Britney Spears – Curious

Yes, the blonde bombshell that is Britney launched her very first fragrance, Curious, back in 2005 and although her music career might have taken a backseat – she’s doing very well in the perfume stakes! This is a romantic scent with a floral aroma, with louisana magnolia, vanilla and a subtle hint of musk.

Kylie Minogue – Darling

Our favourite Aussie popstar is an absolute icon, both on the stage and off so no wonder her perfume range has been selling like hotcakes. This pretty scent, which comes in an equally pretty bottle, features plenty of floral notes with a top note of passion fruit, lychee and freesia. This is underpinned by flirty feminine notes of lily and boronia, with base notes including vanilla and sandalwood.

Paris Hilton – Heiress

Now Paris Hilton isn’t really someone that I would expect to launch a perfume but the self styled socialite really hasn’t done badly at all! The bottle is extra sparkly with a pink sparkly strip so you can instantly tell that this is going to be one for a younger audience, who want something fun and young. The fragrance has top notes of passion fruit and orange, with underlying scents of peach granite and champagne mimosa (very apt for one living the high life!) and floral notes of star jasmine and honeysuckle add depth. The heart brings warm notes of violet and woody tones.
