There have been rumours ex Sugababe Mutya Buena would be collaborating with the most recent departee of the band Keisha Buchanan, but we have the lowdown on what Mutya is really doing.
Very is excited to hear that the ex Sugababe has been busy working on her own solo career and she is just days away from releasing a track.
The stroppy singer, who famously walked out of Celebrity Big Brother in 2009, has managed to keep her temper under control to make a number of tracks for the album The Sound of Camden.
That’s an album of covers, designed to capture the unique spirit, diversity and overall vibe of the legendary Camden market.
And particularly interesting is that one of Mutya’s songs is a cover of The Pixies’ classic song Hey – perfect for Mutya’s husky tones.
Of course a new record career means a new wardrobe so the singer and mother of one has been inspired to slim down.
Dropping from a size 14 to a size 10, it’s exciting to see Mutya is fully prepared for her comeback in more ways than one as she left the recording studio (in Camden) last week.
You can’t beat a jersey dress for casual daywear and if she had a showbiz function that night, it would just require a pair of heels to take it from 11am to 11pm.
