Tres Jolie Angelina!

Interestingly “Tres Jolie” translates as Very pretty in French – I think we can all agree that Angelina lives up to her name in this picture recently snapped for the release of her new film Salt.

Looking radiantly glowing, Angelina has gone for softly smoking eyes and left those trademark lips to talk for themselves in subdued hardly there gloss.

I love this look on Angelina – and fortunately for us – not only is it easy to replicate, it also suits everyone!

Get the Look

Starting off with a good base, why not treat yourself to a decent moisturizer? This Eight Hour Set by Elizabeth Arden is a great idea for starting up a regular moisturising routine and will be sure to impress.

Next apply an illuminating foundation such as this beauty bargain by Eyeko – for a barely there finish. Then complete with a light reflecting concealer.  This one by Barry M makes a great cheaper alternative if you don’t fancy splashing out on the all time Beauty Favourite Touch Eclat by YSL.

A great tip I was told is to apply a little on the V above your upper lip to boost that pout!

Apply a blush that mimics your own natural flush. If unsure just pinch your cheeks to see what colour they turn-please don’t pinch too hard though as we want gently blushing not scarily bruised!

Keep eyebrows naturally shaped, if you haven’t got time for threading then pluck lightly and set with a little clear gloss or Vaseline.

Now for the eyes, my best advice is to build up colour lightly. Although greys can be dramatic it is sometimes a look that many falter with – you could instead go for subtler shades of brown.  Remember to apply the middle shade to your lower lid, filling in the hollows with a darker shade, increasing this slightly at the outer edges then apply lighter beige to the upper lid.

Gradually line your upper and lower lids either with dampened eye shadow and a brush or with a bolder crayon to really smoke up those eyes and finish with mascara.  I personally like to add an extra coat to just the outer lashes for a doe eyed effect.

Star Tips – For added highlights why not dab a little of the Eyeko cream on your upper lid under your arch and a little on your cheekbones, just a tiny amount works wonders and instantly adds definition!

Finish off with a very nude gloss that mimics your own lip shade best for barely there kissable appeal and that’s it – Angelina Jolie, get your claws out girl because you have competition!

Well we can dream can’t we?
