Get into the Game!

When they get home, serious gamers know exactly how to do things properly. They’ve got the latest consoles plugging into high definition TV’s, pumping out full cinema surround sound and they’ve got an endless supply of popcorn within arm’s reach. What they sometimes neglect however, is their seating arrangements.

Many gamers will tell you that getting the optimum position is crucial, if you are looking for the full virtual reality experience, even if you don’t have the latest HD kit. Thankfully, you don’t have to break the bank to achieve it.

A number of manufacturers have come up specifically with a range of furniture specifically with gaming in mind, with chairs and beanbags that really do let you get into the heart of the action.

One such example is the X Rocker Ice Gaming chair, a low level rocking chair that lets you sit low down in front of the screen. It also includes connections for your console and speakers in the headrest, meaning that you can get 2.1 sound fed directly into the chair.

If you are looking for something that offers a little more comfort and wouldn’t look out of place as a permanent fixture in your living room, consider the X Rocker Sync recliner game chair.

This really is the ultimate gaming chair! Like the Ice chair, it features a built in 2.1 speaker system but adds AFM technology, which includes an amplifier, stereo satellite speakers, a separately adjustable powered subwoofer and an integrated wireless receiver.

For even more comfort, the chair has a reclining footrest and even comes with synchronised vibration and a massage function.

But if you’re looking for something a little more portable, perhaps for the kid’s room, then the Football gaming bean bag chair could be what you are looking for.

This super-comfortable large football beanbag chair comes with a bucket seat to really get you comfortable and includes audio connections for the built-in speakers, which are compatible with most consoles and handheld gaming systems.

So what are you waiting for? Kick back, fire up the consoles and experience a whole new world of virtual reality!

Glad to see you’ve got a decent selection of gaming chairs in stock for Christmas! You should get some gaming bean bags in as well as they generally tend to be more comfortable – my i-eX is awesome.

You call that a game chair? For who? Little kids?

If you want a game chair for anyone over the age of 12, this is not the solution.

How about a review about game chairs made for adults?
