If like me you are a huge fan of The X Factor then you will surely be as eager in sharing your views on each show.
The last round of auditions saw Louis and Simon joined by Pussycat Doll lead singer Nicole Shertzinger – Nicole had high hopes of finding a star. She looked stunning of course in a very form fitting grey body con dress – if you loved her dress then why not try this one by Love Label for a fraction of the cost.
First contestant Rachel Chu kicked off the auditions with an unique rendition of Whitney Houston’s classic ‘Saving All My Love For You’ but failed to impress the judges.
John Ashmore followed and Louis compared him to a helium balloon!
These were swiftly followed by more no votes and we were into the break with no star talent in sight!
Thankfully a total turn around after the break began….
18 year old Aiden Grimshaw from Blackpool – sporting double denim and a checked scarf this boy kicked off into a very bluesy version of Gold Digger by Kayne West and the panel loved it – Simon gave high praise by commenting “now that’s what I call a pop-star”
A surprise entry by 69 year old Hazel Jackson describing herself as wild and bubbly – wild she certainly was! Wearing an animal print bustier dress, with a black mesh cover up she came on stage and sang a gutsy rendition of Tina Turner’s classic ‘Simply The Best’. A spirited lady that didn’t get through but left on a happy note!
Poor Savannah – a bell ringer – seemed to set Louis off into a fit of giggles and she left without any votes.
Valerie Roberts who boasted that she had acted in the film ‘Wolfman’ brought out an equally silly reaction in Simon and yes you guessed it – failed to get through.
Enter upfront 19 year old unemployed party girl Chloe Victoria in ripped jeans, bra top & white lace up boots. Looking frighteningly like Jordan’s teenage clone she gets a few well earned whistles and starts of her own rendition of ‘Summertime’ shortly followed by two more song choices after failing to impress with her unprepared audition, yet Simon and Nicole surprisingly decide to give her a chance despite the audience’s strong reaction.
The show however finished on a high note with 23 year old Rebecca Ferguson. This mum of 2 from Liverpool looked absolutely stunning in a classic black nipped waist shift dress accessorized with simple pearl jewellery – in fact I loved her look so much I had to recreate it from our women’s wear collection. She also stunned the panel with her soulful song choice and even won over Simon.
