Five Minutes Of Fashion With Frankie Sandford

For nine years, she’s been performing and partying and yet Frankie Sandford still manages to look as fresh as a daisy as she leaves Chinawhite nightclub at 2am.

It was a rare night off for the S Club Junior turned Saturday star, who has just returned from LA where the band shot the video for Higher featuring Flo-Rida.

Let’s hope she made the most of it as this week the girl band will be touring UK to promote their new autobiography, The Saturdays: Our Story.

But judging by her cute facial expressions she’s feeling relaxed and happy.

She’s also got a chilled out attitude when it comes to fashion as she spilled her style secrets below.

QS: What’s your favourite shop?

FRANKIE: “I just love Selfridges because it has everything in one place. We don’t get much time off but I can go to Selfridges and know I will find something.”

QS: What’s your favourite concession inside Selfridges?

FRANKIE: “I’m a high street girl.  I loveAll Saints but it depends on what I see in store. I’m a very impulsive shopper. I love handbags

QS: Who’s your fashion inspiration?

FRANKIE: “I love Victoria Beckham’s style.”

QS: How long does it take to get ready for a night out?

FRANKIE: “I’ve had to learn to get ready quickly being on tour so much. I think it takes longer to do my hair than to get dressed.”

QS: What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

FRANKIE: “I love skinny jeans. I can’t get enough of them.”

QS: Do you have any tips for dressing up for a Saturday night?

FRANKIE: “Make sure your handbag is big enough to fit in everything you need. It’s good to be prepared.”

If a big handbag is what you’re after then try a zip and croc trim tote bag – a bargain at £25!

Copy the rest of The Saturdays’ singer’s style with a South peplum jacket

Add a plain black strappy ribbed vest

And finish with some sexy South skinny biker combats

Frankie was recently voted FHM magazine’s fourth sexiest women in the world (behind Cheryl Cole, Megan Fox and Victoria’s Secret model Marisa Miller) so she must be doing something right.

We can’t promise you’ll win such an accolade by copying her style but it’s worth having a go!
