Very’s Winter Collection

The Very Winter Update Book landed on my doorstep recently. I enjoyed my usual ritual of looking through the new collection and then turning to the front and starting all over again for a more thorough investigation!

Now that it is well and truly cosy clothes weather I’m looking to replenish my winter wardrobe.

I like this Love Label longline hooded jumperthe asymetric hemline and pocket give it a quirky feel. Worn with a long sleeve t-shirt underneath it would keep you cosy without bulking up. I can recommend the Love Label long sleeve jersey top – a must-have wardrobe staple.

For something a little more casual I adore this Bench funnel neck fleece. The trademark long sleeves and thumb holes make this fleece super warm!

This season’s must-have, the Aviator Jacket, allows for style and warmth. Just look at the faux fur collar on this South Aviator Jacket - fabulously cosy!

Another autumn/winter must-have is the maxi skirt. This South Jersey Maxi Skirt is feminine and sleek and you can keep warm in thick tights or leggings hidden underneath. Teamed with chunky knits and boots it would make a great cold weather outfit.

To get really cosy I love these Sorbet Boutique Cotton Flannel Checked Bottoms and this co-ordinated  Hooded Jersey Top. I love coming in from the cold, jumping into a warming bath and then popping on my PJs. Granted they aren’t particularly alluring but it’s cold out there!

For when I do go out there the snood is back, but I love this cable knit trapper hat (I think it probably had something to do with the bobble). It would look cute with the Bench fleece, no?
