We love: Ice Magic Christmas dresses

My favourite thing about Christmas, aside from the food (of course), is choosing my Christmas dress.

By the end of October I’ve already decided how many Christmas parties and do’s I’ll be going to, that dictates how much I should spend so that I get the most out of it. Well, that’s how I reconcile it to myself anyway!

That’s the thing about Christmas dresses. It should be the most special buy of the year. It’s the only time in the calendar that most of us can get away with wearing dresses with sequins or ruffles or sparkles or anything vaguely eye-catching without feeling like we’ll stick out like a sore thumb.

My favourite Christmas trend is going to be Ice Magic (which will be called Pure White by spring, just so you know!). That means creams and whites, with lots of icy sparkle details. Lush!

I love French Connection dresses and this pretty Pretty Penelope dress is no exception! Gorgeous detail and a girlie shape. Great for sipping cocktails or throwing shapes on the dance floor.

Love Label dresses are always beautiful but this time I think we’ve excelled ourselves with this sizzling sequin and bead embellished nude dress. It’s sold out once already – so get your order in quick!

With its silver sequin detail this tunic has got to be the definition of Ice Magic? It’s probably long enough to wear as a dress if your legs can take the cold!

If you need to cover up your new Christmas dress (for a sleigh ride perhaps?) then this South fur coat would be perfect. It has a fur zig zag pattern across the back so it feels quite retro.

Accessorise your new Christmas dress with some sparkly, Ice Magic jewellery, like this bangle set. Or, my current lust-object is a white bracelet watch. This Ice Watch with set stones has the trend down to a tee but we do have some more inexpensive versions of the watch without the stones that you must see.

Have a Merry Christmas (so what if it’s still October!), and don’t forget, this year, ditch the black dress and push the boat out to make this year’s Christmas party frock your most fabulous yet! x
