One Dress, Five Ways

November always creeps up on me. Even though it comes at the same time every year, right after October, it invariably takes me by surprise. A cold sweat takes hold as I realise that Christmas is a mere two pay days away. Presents are required. Party outfits are required. I need to make a Christmas Cake and find my napkin rings. I need a plan. I need to make a list (followed by several sub-lists).

With Christmas madness approaching I am able to make at least one decision that will save time and simplify the festivities – which is that, this year, one dress will be worn for all the important festive dates. The office Christmas party, a girls night out, Christmas Day, dinner with other half and of course New Year’s Eve.

This Mint Velvet moody floral dress is not only gorgeous but versatile too. It can look demure, sassy, romantic, edgy and pretty, simply by changing what you choose to wear it with.

The Christmas Office Party

This Vero Moda blazer keeps the outfit looking smart… at least until everyone has had a few glasses of wine and relaxed a little – then, you can ditch the jacket for full-on party mode.

Girls night out

A great leather jacket and bold accessories give this outfit a sassy edge. This should definitely be worn to the theme tune of ‘Here Come the Girls’…

Christmas Day

Add a longline cardigan with a skinny belt, add cute, comfy, shoesand some bling for real festive spirit.

Dinner Date

Turn this dress super feminine by adding some stylish, sparkling jewellery, elegant heels and a hint of girlie pink make-up. Your date won’t be able to take his eyes off you!

New Year’s Eve

Team the Vero Moda blazer with Lipsy over the knee boots and add some sparkle with a charm bracelet and headband. Time to PARTY!

What will you be wearing this festive season?
