Pregnant Penelope Cruz Braves Sales

She may be eight months pregnant, but Penelope Cruz can still be used as an example of how to keep stylish this Winter.

While British stars tend to wrap up in dull black, which means everyone ends up looking the same, Penelope stood out miles as she stocked up on baby items in the sales. How refreshing that even well paid celebs like a bargain!

And what’s also refreshing is that Very can reveal that Penelope has cleared her schedule to prepare for the baby so she can be a stay at home mother for a while.

Some actresses sign up for roles immediately after giving birth, thus putting immense pressure on themselves to lose their baby weight, but Penelope can enjoy her first child with her actor husband Javier Bardem.

Her first appearance will be at the premiere of Pirates of The Caribbean 4 in May, in which she stars alongside Johnny Depp. Her sister Monica also stars in it, playing her body double after Penelope’s baby bump started showing mid-way through filming.

And Very can reveal the sister’s have plans to collaborate again on a range of clothes for Swiss designer Biaggini. The range will be called Biaggini Violett and consist of cocktail dresses, party dresses, trouser suits and glamorous jumpsuits to  give the label a global appeal as well as a touch of glamour.

Even when she’s pregnant, the Spanish acttress is naturally glamorous in a warm cream coat. There are several styles to choose from at Very, starting with the South belted coat

Or try something slightly shorter but equally snug with the South roofer coat

Or check out one of the cool macs at Very like the Love Label raised shoulder belted trench coat

Pen adds a feminine touch to her outfit with a girly top like the South cotton crochet smock top

And mixes in a fashionable edge in a smart hat like the Blues Brothers black hat from Very

Finish with some pretty but practical flat boots. If they’re in the sales it’s a bonus like the South Belgrade back strap calf boots – now £29

Penelope and Javier have refused to find out the sex of their baby, but if it’s a girl she’ll be very lucky. She can inherit her yummy mummy’s hand-me-downs.

However, a boy wouldn’t be so bad as Javier scrubs up alright too.  What gorgeous parents!
