She may have finished second on X Factor but Rebecca Ferguson still looks set to be one of the most successful female stars to come out of the ITV talent show.
Her voice on the show moved many to tears and her classy outfits were a refreshing change to the endless stream of pop stars that go out in the tiniest of hotpants.
And now Rebecca is reaping the rewards as Very can reveal she has bookings for every day and night until February, should she accept.
Plus Very hears that she is able to charge £5000 for a 30 minute performance. That works out to £160 per minute.
This time last year, Rebecca was a single mother of two singing into her hairbrush and now she could earn more than £100,000 a month. Way to go, Rebecca!
But it’s value for money for the organisers of any event as she has the ability to get a packed stadium full of 70,000 rugby fans on its feet.
The cheers she got when she performed at Twickenham for the Big Game 3 match between Harlequins and London Irish were louder than those for winner Matt Cardle, who sang The Moody Blues’ Nights in White Satin.
Refreshingly, she hasn’t changed her elegant way of dressing either. The outfit she wore to perform Show Me Love kept her warm in the icy temperatures as but there was a subtle bit of embellishment on the collar to draw everyone’s attention to her face and mouth, where out came her fantastic voice.
The hat was a bit extreme, but if you need to go to any weddings soon you can get a fascinator for £12. It comes in pink and black as well as totally attention-grabbing turquoise
Otherwise a black coat that sparkles is a fantastic investment for winter nights out so you can arrive at any event in style. Try the South black collarless coat, which is in the sale. It’s now just £44.50 – half price on the original selling price of £89
Or try the Berketex embellished jacket. It’s also half-price at £17.50, down from £35.
Also check out an embellished blouse with a collar that can be pulled above any black coat like the South Peter Pan collar blouse
Let’s hope 2011 is a good one for Rebecca. Fingers crossed her new fame won’t affect her fab fashion sense!
