Christine Bleakley Jumps Ship And Stars In Film

Daybreak’s Christine Bleakley is jumping ship and going under the sea.

Well, she has voiced the character of a turtle in the new family film A Turtle’s Tale: Sammy’s Adventures in 3-D

The pretty ITV presenter turned up to the premiere at London’s BFI Imax theatre in a family-friendly outfit – a classy coat and cute skinny jeans. She’s not flaunting her fabulous figure but you can see that she’s in good shape by the cut of the coat and the way her legs are enveloped in the skinny jeans.

Not bad for her first attempt at dressing up for a film she acts in.

So has the TV presenter been bitten by the movie bug?

She exclusively revealed to Very that she’s committed to two years for Daybreak but “if the right role came up, I’d read the script and consider it. However, I don’t think I could do a lead role. My part in A Turtle’s Tale is a blink and you’d miss it role. I’m hopeless at acting!”

Christine is being modest as the film, which is released nationwide on 25 March, has already had rave reviews from the critics.

The lead voices are Mama Mia actor Dominic Cooper and Bond and Prince of Persia actress Gemma Arterton, who play two turtles in love that get lost and try to find each other. It’s a fresh version of Finding Nemo meets Romeo and Juliet .

And talking of crisp, new things – there’s still time to try a new coat like Christine’s this spring.

Check out the Firetrap short trench coat with black buttons and a charming belt – just like Christine’s coat

The South urban safari mac is a warm sand colour that will look good come rain or shine this season

Or try the Vila Millie trench coat to belt up in style with large pockets to warm your hands in

The breakfast TV presenter shows off her shapely legs in black skinny jeans just like the South Molly skinny jeans

And she accessorises by carrying a black handbag. The Mischa Barton cross body bag can be worn over the shoulder or carried

Now finish the look with some shoe boots. Ones that will get you noticed are the Miss Sixty peace logo shoe boots – they’re fabulous!

If only some of Christine’s good taste and sweetness would rub off on her Daybreak co-host Adrian Chiles. He could definitely do with looking a little less sour.
