One of the hot colour trends this season is coral and I am finding myself being drawn to it over and above any other colour at the moment.
I have just purchased Barry M’s lipstick in Coral – it’s packed full of moisturisers and gives a translucent, shimmery finish with one coat and a rich pop of colour with a second coat.
I’m rather tempted to treat myself to this Barry M nail polish too (as we know, putting a look together is all about the details)…
Nail varnish is a great way to add an accent colour if you aren’t keen on going top to toe. This shade would look fabulous with a pair of neutral or embellished sandals.
These caught my eye – Katy Buckle by Carvela – I love wedges as they are so much more comfortable and easy to walk in than most heels (not that footwear being uncomfortable has ever stopped me from wearing something!) and the brown leather with buckle detailing tips a nod to the 70’s trend
These KG sandals are gorgeous! The soft leather and toe post design teamed with the tribal embellishments make for a very stylish and comfortable summer look.
Of course sandals come in coral too – like these gorgeous Love Label corsage wedges – perfect for a Summer wedding.
Try a neutral nail polish with these, this Nails Inc. Colville Mews for a subtle contrast is perfect.
Some of my other coral favourites…
Coral would look gorgeous worn with lemon yellow, as shown here, or with electric blue if you’re looking to wear the colour block trend but if you are going for something more subtle team it with neutrals and white – it makes the colour the real centre of attention. Wearing coral with navy instead of black will also keep the look current.
Are you OK with coral?
