My Summer Garden and Why I’m Loving It

With the sun shining my favourite place to be is in my garden. My best ever garden purchase was a swing chair, if you already own one you’ll probably be nodding your head right about now. If you don’t, you really should try it. Nothing beats swinging gently on a warm day with a cold drink in hand…

And when evening falls my cold drink is replace with a hot cuppa and the log burner is lit. It is mesmerizing.

Of course summer is BBQ season and eating al fresco. I love this Madrid 5 piece set that packs neatly away into a cube. It’s also a bargain at £449 in the sale (saving £150)…

When it comes to BBQs I am traditionally charcoal girl – there is just something about the taste…

…that said, having read so many good reviews about gas BBQs I am tempted to try one, and with the sales already in full swing I’m guessing that I can grab a bargain too! Do you use gas or charcoal BBQs?

I am the Queen of pottering and have been known to lose days in my garden doing nothing much at all but being very busy indeed. My outside space is my sanctuary, a place of calm. This is helped along by the soothing sounds of running water, and the use of localised lighting (solar powered so they are really easy to install and have minimal upkeep) to create an atmosphere.

The garden is a great place to relax, unwind and entertain – it’s a lounge, dining room and kitchen but outside and there to be enjoyed!
