Gwyneth Is Top Of The Crop At Chelsea Flower Show

Phew, Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t stop, does she? In between appearing on Glee, writing her lifestyle blog, singing at the Grammys and of course being a mum and wife, the actress found time to check out the Chelsea Flower Show in London.

But it wasn’t a day off for the Hollywood actress as she was there to promote her new cookery book. Entitled My Father’s Daughter, Gwyn’s book of recipes is dedicated to her late father, and the star is on a mission to make it a bestseller by flogging it at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show as well as by appearances on TV talk shows and most national newspapers and magazines.

Despite her hectic schedule, she was looking as fresh as a daisy at the West London flower fest, rocking a simple and chic outfit consisting of a white blazer and shirt, teamed with cropped cargo style chinos. Her minimal look was given a touch of fashion forward glamour with a pair of tan crossover chunky wooden sandals, which all-in-all made the outfit a perfect mix of classic with a contemporary twist: perfect for the occasion.

Although Gwyn smiled for the cameras, Very can reveal that all has not been running completely smoothly for the star, after Atlantic pulled the plug on her potential record deal.

Gwyneth had hoped that she would have a signed contract by now after her performance to millions at The Grammys but there are issues over fees. According to music industry sources,  the record label are having second thoughts about Gwyneth after she demanded a higher signing fee than they budgeted for. It’s not hopeless as Atlantic are “still interested” in signing the star but both sides are involved in serious financial discussions.

At least if it doesn’t work out, she could always try her luck at a cookery show. People were queuing up to see her at the flower show.

If you want to emulate Gwyneth’s chic and understated look, you need to select some stunning cropped trousers. Try the Diesel Cropped Trousers, which come in a leg flattering fit that is both comfortable and on-trend.

The Savoir cropped pants are more causal but they’ll keep you comfy all day long

Or for something more trendy, check out the Love  Label cropped cuff pants – these match the season’s sports chic trend that’s been on some of the designer catwalks. They’re so easy to wear and look lovely with a vest and jacket

Then the South 70s Shrunken Jacket is a perfect match to Gwyn’s blazer, and even comes with front mock pockets and a contrasting button – no one will know the difference!

For Gwyn’s whiter than white look, wear over the Coleen Fitted Shirt to keep the look fresh and bright.

Gwyneth set her look off perfectly with a pair of tan sandals, and you can too with the Love Label Redgrave Peep Toe Buckle Boots which come with a small block heel – perfect for adding height and streamlining your look, but comfortable enough for everyday wear.

Gwyneth’s dressed for success – let’s hope it happens for her!
