Loved-Up Saturday Mollie King Shares Summer Tips

Mollie King is a Saturday in lurrrrve – she’s just started dating the gorgeous male model David Gandy.

As she went for a date with him in London recently, she looked absolutely stunning in a Princess-like prom dress.

She’s clearly at the stage of her relationship where she wants to make an effort and if you want to look pretty and feminine then you can’t beat a prom dress.

A’line skirts are always really flattering as they skim out over her hips, making  legs look slim and toned.

Things are getting serious between Mollie and the model as Very can reveal they have actually been together since March.

But the sensible singer kept it quiet for two months until she knew things were serious – it’s not suitable for their young fans to think of Mollie as a man-eater.

But it is good for the stunning Saturday to have a reputation as a fashion icon, and the gorgeous star has no problem fulfilling that responsibility, especially in her pretty prom dress.

Find out where she gets her fashion inspiration from in the mini interview below:

QS: Do you have a stylist?

MOLLIE: “We have a stylist but we like to be really involved as well. As individuals we all have our own style. We always have to look, sort of uniformed, but we also want to look individual. It’s just getting the mix right really. The stylist might say ‘black dress’ and then we choose our own.”

QS: Where do you get your dresses from?

MOLLIE: “I’m very lucky – I get to choose from lots of designers like Rare, Lipsy, Forever Unique, all the high street shops. I love experimenting with fashion.”

QS: Summer is fast approaching – what is your tip?

MOLLIE: “I’m really loving denim at the moment. Anything denim but especially denim shorts.”

QS: What’s about accessories tips?

MOLLIE: “I love wearing sunglasses. Especially large ones. I got a large pair of sunglasses recently and I haven’t taken them off.”

QS: What do you wear when you’re not in dresses?

MOLLIE: “You’ll often see me in t-shirts with logos on. I like to express myself. And I’ll wear that with jeans or denim shorts.”

But Mollie really suits dresses and if you like her date night outfit then you can get something similar from Very with the lovely Forever Unique embellished fluffy bandeau dress

Or try the Teatro taffeta corsage prom dress – very similar except the colour of the bodice and skirt are the opposite to the Saturdays singer’s dress

The Love Label bow front prom dress is the same design, but the mix of light purple and dark purple gives it all a fresh, summery vibe

Such a detailed dress requires a cool and classic pair of shoes like the Love Label Charlize platform court shoes. These will make your legs look longer and therefore slim your frame

Let’s hope it works out for Mollie and her new man. She hasn’t looked this happy in ages!
