I never thought I would say that I’m loving the whole 70’s vibe this year -especially since I spent my childhood wearing nylon brown flares and a hand knitted orange tank top that itched like crazy! To cap it all my brothers had matching ones along with beetle crusher shoes and very dodgy haircuts!
Thankfully though the new take on the 70’s is a lot more Charlie’s Angels than Mork and Mindy so you get to rock your inner goddess instead!
This dress by Love Label is top of my list, the silky cut clings to those curves in all the right places and the russet orange is bang on trend. Love it!
This Box knit Jumper by South just is just shouting to be bought! It’s great to throw on over any old top and instantly turn an otherwise drab outfit into 70’s style queen!
Suede was in great favour in the 70’s, no wonder as it’s so comfortable to wear! These Shorts can be styled up with a blouse & heels or even with chunky tights and boots once winter hits, either way they are bound to be a wardrobe favourite.
This bag by Ri2K comes in two colour choices but I’m particularly smitten with the blue option!
These Block Heel Beauty’s by French Connection are great for the office or for weekend wear to slip on with a pair of jeans, the Rust colour is perfect for the upcoming season.
This cape coat is absolutely gorgeous; I was taking a look at some vintage pictures the other day and couldn’t believe how spot on this vintage inspired coat really is! Well done South.
These Jeans by Coleen have excellent reviews, not only are they the ideal fit for pear shaped gals like me- the flare is bang on trend too!
Peter Pan collars have been seen everywhere on the catwalks so it would be insane not to join in, the sequin detail on this one is so cute and it comes in both black and nude, why not get both ?
Jumpsuits are still going strong, update your wardrobe with this rust coloured Love Label number; I love the cowl neck and flattering fit to lower half. I may have to order this!
Every girl deserves a treat, I may not wear designer togs but I do like to splash out on a decent pair of sunglasses now and again. This pair by Versace has caught my eye and is screaming buy me so much that I’m going to order them right now!
