It’s getting nearer and nearer and I can practically hear Santa’s sleigh bells ringing. Yes, it’s CHRISTMAS!! Sorry, did I scare you?! The thing is, for every person who loves Christmas (like me) there’s another person who is already worrying about buying a turkey for ten, how they’re going to stop Aunty Mary from necking all the Sherry and remembering not to over cook the sprouts! Well stop stressing because help is at hand, I will be your fairy Godmother (in a Pantomime Style of course!) and guide you through Very’s top products for stress-free Christmas dining. You’ll be feeling ready to dine in style in no time at all……..
So first you’ll need a dining table and Very have a huge selection for you to choose from. I’d like to recommend the Perth Extending Dining Table because it’s so handy to be able to open it to its full capacity to accommodate extra guests at this time of year. Plus it has a lovely dark Walnut-effect finish that would look great with all those sparkly decorations. Also if you’re looking for extra chairs to seat all those extra relatives then these Set of 2 Tarlton Dining Chairs are lovely and comfy and don’t take up too much space if you need to store them until next year!
The next big choice is dinnerware; I love elegant, timeless crockery at this time of year and Very have a great range to choose from. This Swan 16-piece Lunar Dinner Set is so pretty and it comes in silver and gold so you can ensure it will match your Christmas colours!
Or if you prefer something a little more merry then take a look at this Festive rectangular Snack Tray which is decorated with it’s own colourful Christmas imagery. It also has a matching chip and dip and cake stand which would look wonderful stacked with some yummy mince pies.
Next up is cutlery, I love the thought of having a special canteen of cutlery for Christmas that comes out every year and reminds me of Christmasses past. Very have some great cutlery sets to choose from and I particularly like the elegant styling of Rayware Kensington 16-piece Cutlery Set. I like to tie each guest’s cutlery together with some festive ribbon or a piece of tinsel before laying it on a charger plate – so pretty!
Finally we have the fun bit; the decorations that will give your table the wow factor! I love to use a table runner because it can be a great way to add colour and Very have this great Faux Silk Dining Table Runner in shades to suit every colour scheme: Gold, Pink, Purple, Red, Silver and Teal.
Then it’s time to add a show stopping centre peice and this year I’ve found the perfect party piece, this gorgeous glittery Reindeer Christmas Ornament, sooo pretty! Now all you have to do is light the lights, slip on your LBD and have a sip on something fizzy, oh but defrost the turkey first ok?!
