Get Ready For Your Christmas Guests

You and I know that Christmas is really all about spending time with family, friends and loved ones. For many of us this means welcoming extra overnight guests during the festive period, or even making room for a few surprise ones! Here at Very we have everything you need to create a comfortable place for overnight guests to stay that won’t break the bank.

The most important thing is choosing the spare bed that is right for your home. Obviously this depends a great deal on how much space you have. For example, if you have a spare room you could choose something  like this Single Folding Guest Bed. It will  allow you to make the most of your spare room during the day but at night it simply folds out into a very roomy and comfortable spare bed. You can even fold it up with the bedlinen still on it so make life really simple!  Alternatively if you don’t have a spare room how about choosing a sofa bed? This Juno Sofa Bed is a great sofa by day but neatly folds out into a lovely double bed at night.

Finally, if space is really at a premium you could opt for this fabulous Aerobed Classic blow up bed. No huffing and puffing here,  it comes with a nifty little pump so you don’t have to do all the hard work.  Also when deflated it folds up into the neatest little bag which takes up no space at all!

When choosing bedlinen for your guests it’s important to look for something with universal appeal; nothing too feminine or age specific. This Roscoe Bed-in-a-bag is the perfect solution; a classic design in a neutral colour scheme and best of all it all folds up neatly into a bag so you can store away until your guests arrive.

There’s nothing nicer than clean, fresh fluffy towels to welcome your guests hotel-style. A neat pale of towels on the end of the bed like these pretty Circles 4-piece Embroidered Towel Bale from Very would be ideal. You could even leave them a new toothbrush or a mini toiletry kit to make them feel really pampered and a few pretty accessories like these lovely Swirl Pattern Tealights wouldn’t go amiss either.

So remember, if your guests have had one too many glasses of fizz and need a bed for the night you can relax because Very have got it all covered. All  you have to is worry about getting up to make breakfast for everyone! x
