Exclusive X Factor Judges News: Semi-Final Tears

She looked as if she didn’t have a care in the world as she managed to both judge and perform on the X Factor semi-final show, but Kelly Rowland has now given the strongest hint yet that she wants to quit the show next series. It’s sad but it looks like Kelly’s back off to the US next year because earlier in the week she performed her new single at a gig organised by Radio 1 Xtra and exclusively revealed to us: “I couldn’t move to the UK. My mama has found it really hard me being here for the show. So next year I’m planning on moving back”.  Her mum has a fear of flying and as she raised Kelly as a single parent she’s finding it tough being away from her daughter for so long.

However Kelly also revealed that her mum was proud when she watched the shows back – as long as Kelly didn’t get too emotional. Apparently her mum gets emtional herself when Kelly cries, poor thing! With the amount of work Kelly is doing promoting her single Down For Whatever, currently number 9 in the charts, doing X Factor and working out in the gym, it’s no wonder the tears flow easily. Thankfully she kept her cool on Saturday night in a very businesslike outfit. Normally we see her in shimmering maxi dresses but she pulls off the saucy secretary look very well as you can see above. It’s easy to recreate Ms Rowland’s look this season if you need to go from the office to after work drinks. The key is great shoes and a feminine but sophisticated top under your jacket. Try the Savoir cowl neck top and Coleen Sweeny slingback shoes from Very for power dressing at it’s finest.

Judge Tulisa is still having a lot more fun than Kelly on the show. Last week she went to Winter Wonderland and this week Very spotted her taking a whole night off to go clubbing at Jalouse in central London. It was the 21st birthday of rapper Chipmunk but Very exclusively witnessed Tulisa grabbing more attention from the paparazzi as she showed up to the birthday bash in a stunning white bodycon dress.

White is a fantastic way to make an entrance because not many people dare to wear it in Winter. The key to standing out is to look for a dress that flatters your skin tone as well as fits your figure and thankfully there are lots of new-in going out dresses at Very so you can browse for your perfect colour.

Alternatively, silver is a stunning colour for parties. Kelly wore a sequin dress on the Sunday night’s results show and although her mum would not have been happy to see the tears as her girl Misha B was voted off, nobody could argue that the former Destiny’s Child singer looked spectacular. The Vila sparkling sequin dress is one way to get a sequin look from Very and make a glittering entrance anywhere you go.

Now Coldplay, JLS, One Direction and Leona Lewis are confirmed to perform at the final on 10 December. Who’s excited?
