X Factor: Tulisa & Kelly’s Dresses

It was an emotional and dramatic final for X Factor judge Tulisa, who was in tears most of the weekend and regretted her outfit choices. On Saturday night she wore two short dresses, which were criticised heavily on Twitter, and Very can exclusively reveal from our show sources this shook her confidence. She ended up requesting a long dress for the final, but she almost fell down the stairs in a blue fishtail number. It was so tight she had to take it off immediately after the show, and when she walked down the stairs she had to cling on to judge Louis Walsh. He ended up taking her back to her dressing room, (but leaving when she was getting changed, obviously!)

Thankfully sources have exclusively revealed Tulisa’s boyfriend Fazer was waiting backstage to cheer her up – bless! If there’s one good thing to come out of the show, it’s made her realise who her friends are. Another positive is it’s helped her express her personality and show that she’s not afraid to say what’s on her mind, even if other people may take offense. (Let’s not forget her frank words caused Kelly Rowland to leave the country and hide in the US!) And even if her dress was tight, it’s a world away from the girl that wore tracksuits in the band N-Dubz.

Tulisa’s blooming into a sophisticated style icon and has realised that a maxi dress is always an elegant option. The colour of her final outfit was eye-catchingly exquisite, and quite similar to The Elements Amanda Wakeley v-neck embellished maxi dress – perfect for formal occasions this Christmas.

Meanwhile, Very can reveal Kelly Rowland is actually glad the show is over. In fact, after her own act Amelia Lily lost on Saturday night she didn’t spend much time comforting her but dragged her to GAY nightclub to watch another act, Misha B. Misha was doing a solo perfomance at the iconic London nightspot and Kelly and Amelia both rushed fromWembley as soon as camera’s stopped rolling on Saturday to make it to the central London venue. Amelia’s parents didn’t even get a chance to properly catch up with their daughter before she left the show to watch someone else perform. Slightly weird!

What’s more, the former Destiny’s Child singer told sources backstage after Sunday’s show that she was looking forward to returning to her home in the States and having a family Christmas. The singer, who is now launching her solo career, has not fitted into the show’s drama as much as Tulisa and has previously spoken of her shock about the way it is all so cut-throat. Clearly she didn’t do any research as she could have seen that from watching previous episodes, especially ones when judges Dannii Minogue and Sharon Osbourne were properly fighting. However, you can’t argue with the fact she looked good during the final. Gold is a fantastic option for parties and we noticed the Not So Serious gold sequin dress is very similar to Kelly’s. If you’ve got a special event this Christmas then gold will really get you noticed.

That’s it for the cat-fighting and tears between the judges…for now. No doubt there will be more rows if the winning act Little Mix win or fail to win the Christmas Number One single! x
