Dancing on Ice hosts Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley announced American actor Corey Feldman was the latest celebrity to leave Dancing On Ice in a move that will please producers left tired by his demanding behaviour. Here’s the exclusive ins and outs from the duel-battle themed show.
OUT: COREY FELDMAN
The former child star, who is now most famous for a piece of string like hair at the front of his face, lost in the final skate-off to former Dallas actress Charlene Tilton. However, he was lucky to get this far in the competition after refusing to take it seriously. A fortnight ago, he was more interested in clubbing with the cast of Desperate Scousewives then practicing his moves. Last week, he also decided to take a break to attend the Woman in Black premiere with Daniel Radcliffe. He was shown ignoring the advice of his professional skater partner Brooke Castile and he even asked ITV producers to put a hot tub in his dressing room to soothe his aches (they said no).
IN: CHEMMY ALCOTT
The professional ski-er had her best week ever in the competition despite suffering an injury. Very can reveal that Chemmy, who a fortnight ago was in tears after getting stuck in a lift, managed to break two fingers during rehearsals. Ouch! She was in a duel against Corey, but says this helped her as he told her to lighten up and she followed his advice. She even followed him to the Woman in Black premiere where she looked stunning in a black strapless dress. Nice work! Take inspration from Chemmy and check out the Drama Queen ruffle bodycon mini dress with some simple South crane platform shoes. Gorgeous!
IN: JORGIE PORTER
Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter cannot stop praising Dancing on Ice –maybe as she’s one of the few celebrities who hasn’t been injured yet – and Very chatted to her to find out why she was enjoying it so much. The pretty star exclusively told us the benefits to her figure had been incredible, as she said its lifted her body and toned her thighs – nice. She also said it impressed her Hollyoaks co-star boyfriend Will Savage who is now thinking of going on the show himself. Yes please – we’d like to see him in lycra!
Coronation Street star Andy Whyment, free runner Sebastien Foucan, TV presenter Sam Nixon, singer Chico and Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden, Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter, actress Jennifer Ellison, British skier Chemmy Alcott, Sugababe Heidi Range, fitness guru Rosemary Conley and Dallas star Charlene Tilton.
Singer Christina Perri got a standing ovation for her beautiful performance of Jar Of Hearts on Sunday night’s show. It was the longest amount of time an audience has cheered for as although Pixie Lott got the audience to their feet, the cheers for Christina lasted for ages. Producers ended up having to tell the audience to sit down so there could be more skating. Perri’s currently finished her UK tour. Shouldn’t she have done Dancing On Ice earlier to increase ticket sales? It shows you don’t need to bare all to be taken seriously as she sat behind her piano in an elegant blue dress. Try the long sleeve South Ponterama dress if you’d like to look as low-key but lovely.
Christine Bleakley is growing in confidence after confessing to receiving hate messages on Twitter about her presenting of the show. She spoke out about them last week and revealed they’d almost stopped since she took the matter out into the open. Also, her co-host Phillip Schofield has been going the extra mile to make sure she feels comfortable. Bless! Christine revealed: ‘He’s wicked, he just slips in little comments when you don’t expect it, I’m having a ball.’ This week Christine certainly looked bright and lovely in a green dress that flattered her skin tone and showed off some cleavage. For a similar structured dress try the Fever Manhattan Pencil Dress or check out the Holly Willoughby jersey bustier maxi dress if you like something floor length and fabulous.
Boyband One Direction will be performing on next week’s show – we predict more drama than ever!
