The premiere of Disney film African Cats saw a very special couple grace the red carpet – the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! Despite the fact that it was a family-friendly Disney movie and it was pouring with rain, Kate looked as glam as ever. Have we ever seen her look anything less than 100% perfect? Normally this would inspire massive jealousy but you can’t help but admit she is a fantastic ambassador for British fashion, proving that the Brits can be as elegant as the French and as stylish as the Italians.
This outfit was a lot more demure than the lace maxi dress she wore for the gala premiere of War Horse and that may be partly because she wanted Prince William to get attention this time. After the premiere, our future King gave a speech where he compared the film to Eastenders! (Do the royals keep track of the soaps too?) Very heard William’s speech at the event, which started with: “Wow, that was amazing. I’m emotionally exhausted. There’s more drama in that than EastEnders. African Cats shows the battle for survival facing every lion and cheetah born in the wild.”
