What To Pack In Your Holiday Suitcase

Whether you’re the type of lady to pack 10 t-shirts or the type to pack carefully thought out outfits, this guide will help ease your mind when it comes to that dreaded staring into your empty suitcase scenario.

First things first, you need to pack all your essentials. Essentials are items you WILL use or need at some stage of your holiday. Everything else such as heels, sparkly dresses and handbags are a bonus, I like to refer to these as luxury items, things that you don’t need to pack, but it will be lovely to have too. So let’s run through the essentials.

Most Crucial

Nothing is more important than sunscreen. Not only will it keep you hydrated, it will protect you from the harmful UV rays and give you a nice even tan. I recommend this Loreal Milk Spray Bundle. It has everything you need and the spray applicator means quicker application. Another crucial item I recommend is a hat. This Straw Bowler Hat is stylish, cute and versatile. It will go with almost any outfit, and protect your face and hair from the sun.

I suggest a sundress that can take you from day to night. I personally love this the Love Label Open Back Sun Dress. Its summery, floral, cute and sexy at the same time. Wear with flats by day and heels by night, thats 2 outfits in one! I also recommend taking a maxi dress, another day to night item. Maxi dresses are stylish, comfortable and glam. This Love Label Open Back Maxi Dress will be making it’s way into my suitcase!

Take some simple coloured tank tops. These South Ribbed Longline Vest is only £5 a pop meaning you can afford to buy several in different colours. These kind of tops look good with shorts or skirts, there super easy to style and more importantly, super comfortable.

You definitely need a great pair of flats. I have gone for these South Acapulco Leather Sandals. Metallic is slightly more dressy than plain ones meaning you can wear them at night time too! These South Turi Elastic Front Wedge Espadrilles are also great, a small wedge will give you some comfortable height if like me, your a high heels kind of girl.

Every girl needs at least a couple of bikinis. I will be taking this Pineapple Bikini Set with me. The minty colour is SO this season and the frills will help add some volume to my small chest. The perfect companion is this Resort Crinkle Kaftan. It’s lightweight and flattering, the perfect cover up. It’s also the crinkle look so wave goodbye to your iron!

Sunglasses are a must, I can not stress enough how important it is to protect your eyes from the sun. I will be sporting my Ray Ban Teardrop Aviator Sunglasses this summer. Oh please, keep those paps away! teehee. Finally, everyone needs a great multi tasking bag. I went for this Bench Giving Tote Bag. Big enough to take on to plane, casual enough to take to the beach and stylish enough to take to the bars. Sorted!

Quick tips on packing

-Roll your clothes instead of folding, this will prevent them from creasing

-Save space, stuff your underwear into your shoes, make use of that spare space!

-Hold your hat, don’t waste space in your suitcase.

-Take thin lightweight towels, not only will these save space but they will also dry faster and easier.
