Win: National Smile Month Toothbrush Giveaway!

*COMPETITION CLOSED*

May is National Smile Month so here at Very we have a great giveaway to get you Smiling!  Courtesy of Philips we’re giving away a Very slic Philips Sonicare Diamond Clean Toothbrush worth £249 and Philips Air Floss worth £90.  I would LOVE one of these, I’ve used electric tooth brushes for years and would never go back to a manual brush.  Your teeth feel so much cleaner.

National Smile Month promotes three key messages to improve oral health in the UK; brushing your teeth for two minutes twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, cutting down on how often you have sugary foods and drinks, visiting your dentist regularly, as often as they recommend.  Other ways to improve oral health include cleaning between your teeth with interdental brushes or floss at least once a day, using a mouthwash as part of your regular oral health routine and chewing sugar-free gum in between meals to help protect your teeth throughout the day.

The Diamond Clean is not only Philips Sonicare’s best clinical brush, but it also comes a glass charger for elegant charging and when you are away, take the USB travel charger case that can be plugged into your lap top computer, genius!  The brush removes up to 5x more plaque than a manual toothbrush, improves gum health in 2 weeks and whitens teeth within 1 week. It also features a 2 minute timer with a quadpacer to ensure the dental recommended brushing time is maintained.

The AirFloss uses Microburst technology – a quick burst of pressurised air and micro-water droplets cleans deep between teeth where a toothbrush can’t reach. It’s a simple one-button use which means you can clean your mouth in just 60 seconds. It also has a guidance tip to provide easy positioning on those hard to reach back teeth It can be used with either mouthwash (not oil-based) or water for removing up to 99% more plaque between teeth than brushing with a manual toothbrush alone.

Look after your smile!  To enter, comment below and tell me how much money the ‘tooth fairy’ left under your pillow when your teeth fell out as a child!! (Or was that just me??!)

Love Danielle x

Every time one of my teeth fell out I diligently put my teeth under my pillow, but never got any money from the tooth fairy, until one day when it was time to have braces and I’d had to have 4 teeth removed in one trip to the dentist – think my parents felt so sorry for me they made up for lost time and gave me a tenner!

When I was young i got 50p for my front teeth & £1 for my back teeth. I was happy with that, BUt already my children have set the tooth fairy a minimum of £1 for 1st teeth and if they loose more than one in a week, she is supposed to give them a £1 bonus! Thankfully only 2 gone so far and… YES, within 2 days of eachother !!!
