Prepare yourselves for some fab news: The Spice Girls are getting back together AGAIN! Mel B, Mel C, Geri, Emma and Victoria gathered in London to announce their newest project, which is a new musical based on their songs. The show, called Viva Forever, will be just like the Abba musical Mama Mia and it’s even being produced by the woman behind Mama Mia, Judy Craymer. If you’re planning to go to London for some Christmas shopping then you can catch this musical at the same time as it opens on 11 December at the Picadilly Theatre.
Sadly the girls themselves won’t be performing in it but it was great seeing them so happy as they revealed the details of the project. It’s 16 years since the Spice Girls started and they’re way more stylish than when they first zig-a-zig-ah-ed their way into the charts. It’s goodbye to union jack dresses and hello to lace and goodbye to scary leopard print and hello to elegant bodycon detail. The new Spice Girls drip with sophistication and I’ve found a few ways to get their style at Very.
Mel’s had two kids since starting out as a Spice Girl so she’s gone from Scary to Super Elegant. Check out the South mix and match pencil dress from Very, which also looks chic and classy.
Geri Halliwell looks stunning in lace and white looks gorgeous with her complexion, drawing out her tan. This makes Geri look so young! The Little Mistress 2-in-1 lace dress is just as lovely.
Emma Bunton’s swapped the baby doll dresses for something that’s still feminine, but a lot more grown up. The French Connection sweetheart stretch v-neck dress is an equally gorgeous shape and great for creating an hourglass silhouette
Who’s going to see the show when it opens? I totally am!
