Interview: Tess Daly Lights Up F1 Fundraiser For Great Ormond Street

Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly is helping to raise a massive £500,000 for Great Ormond Street hospital and doing it all by having fun. Tess is literally one racy lady as she was one of the VIP guests at a charity party organised by Formula 1 in advance of the British Grand Prix. Through auction prizes and ticket sales, the children’s hospital is on target to raise its goal of half a million pounds to improve its London facilities.

Other famous faces at the event in London’s spectacular Battersea Evolution marquee included Tess’s husband Vernon Kaye, driver Mark Webber, Sky TV presenter Natalie Pinkham and Tamara Ecclestone, the daughter of F1 boss Bernie. However, I think it was Tess who waltzed her way to look like the style Queen of the evening. So, I found out Tess’s top tips for summer fashion:

(1) Wedges

Tess said: “A wedge heel is so easy to wear. I bought a new pair of wedges last week.”

(2) A hat

Tess said: “A hat is the ultimate summer accessory thanks to the summer social occasions like Ascot.”

(3) Coral lipstick

Tess said: “You can boost your pin-up potential with a pout. A coral lip is going to be huge this summer.”

She’s got a busy summer ahead as she’s promoting her paperback novel The Camera Never Lies as well as preparing for a new series of Strictly. How inspiring to see that no matter how little time you have, you can still look fantastic!
