Street Style #3 – Brick Lane

This week I went down to Brick Lane for some style spotting, now commonly known as London’s most hip and trendy area, it’s always brimming with whacky and adventurous trend setters and if you’re a lover for vintage, then this is the place to be. Think cool, casual, hip, dishevelled hair, and a too cool for school attitude all rolled into one. Welcome to East London!

I spotted these two ladies sat outside a fish and chip shop, how British eh? LOVE IT! They were cool, casual and very East London. I loved the polka dot rain mac, perfect for this dreadful wet summer we have been having.  And and her fringe, so blunt and so edgy! I also loved how one of the girls was mixing vintage prints with a leather biker jacket and a bright motif jumper. On paper it shouldn’t work but when you see it together, it’s just so cool and unpredictable. Re-create these looks with our very own Love Label Leather Biker Jacket which looks great with EVERYTHING and wear it with this Love Label African Printed T-shirt for maximum impact. Add some print to your jacket with this Nike Bird Windrunner, a great cool looking jacket.

I stopped this young lady because her whole look was so effortless. From the old vintage bag to the flat black boots, I loved everything about this ensemble. Although casual, she has kept the style looking quite prim due to her crisp white collar and double layered fitted coat. The most striking part? the pop of colour which breaks up all the natural tones and gives it a real feel os summer, although we haven’t been having much of the sunshine! Get your pop of colour with this Love Label Cut Out Sleeve Blouse and pair it with these Love Label Lace Front Flat Casual Boots to recreate this laid-back style.
