Festival Survival Beauty Tips

So we’ve got our outfits sorted for VFestival next weekend, but what about hair and makeup……………..

Eyes – ‘Colour Craze’

Go bright and vibrant with eyes, create ‘blocks’ of colour rather than anything too smoky. Mix up Barry M Trio Eyeshadow 6-Tasty Tropics or Dainty Doll Eyeshadow 004 – Copacabana Bright Blue with a damp eyeshadow brush and literally paint on any look you desire.

Lashes – ‘On the lash’

Wake up without your makeup but still looking hot to trot. Try trimming Eylure Naturalites Strip Lashes – Super Full (100) into small fan-shaped clumps and apply a few to the outer corners of your eyes with a semi-permanent lash glue. They can last about 5 days and will mean no fuss. Finish with a waterproof mascara like Rimmel Volume Flash the Maxx Waterproof Black Mascara and Exaggerate Waterproof Noir

Nails – ‘Indecisive Nails’

Can’t work out which colour to wear? Wear them all at once. Keep nails bright and breezy and alternate colours on each finger. My favs are: Barry M Nail Paint – Berry Ice Cream and Barry M Nail Paint – Lemon Ice Cream, Nails Inc Neon Blue Polish – Kensington Park Road and OPI The Spiderman Collection- Call Me Gwen-ever.

Skin – ‘Brighten don’t frighten!’

If late nights and partying are taking it’s toll then reach for the skin saviour that is YSL Touché Éclat Radiant Touche No1.  Apply sparingly to under eyes, brow bones and inner corners of the eyes the brighten and lift. Remember not to use on blemishes though and this will only highlight them! Try using that is Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer. Apply sparingly to under eyes, brow bones and inner corners of the eyes to brighten and lift. Remember not to use on blemishes though as this will only highlight them! Try using Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation for cover instead.

Festival hair – ‘Day 1’

Plaits and braids look cool and give a free summery vibe. To make a fishtail plait, put your hair into a side ponytail and separate into two sections. Take a piece from the outside of one section bring it across to join the second section. Then take a piece from the outside of the second section to join the first section. Continue down the ponytail until you have a fab fishtail plait. Secure with a band then massage the plait to give it an undone feel.

Festival hair – ‘Day 2’

Take out your plait on day two and you will be left with gorgeous hippy waves. Tip your head upside down and shake out your hair for extra body. Spray the roots with dry shampoo to eliminate any greasiness, if all else fails accessorise with a boho style hat to compliment your hair.

All we need now is the music………………….x

Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog.
Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal
but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about creating my own
but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
Appreciate it
