X Factor: Gossip From The Final Week Of Auditions

The tension is mounting as this is the last week of auditions for the X Factor 2012. Next week we’ll be seeing the bootcamp stages and then it’s off to judges houses. Before we know it, the live shows will start!

One thing’s for sure, there are tons of really talented acts on this year’s show. At this stage, there are about 100 potential winners as I’ve noticed a few stand-out talents every single week. This weekend was all about the female solo artists including Paul Gascoigne’s daughter Bianca, which was a bit of a surprise, but she didn’t even pass the audition as the standards were so high. These are my top 5 this week:

Jade Collins

It was the battle of the Jades this week but Irish teenager Jade Collins gave the most emotional performance. The 17-year-old made guest judge Anastacia cry with her rendition of Beyonce’s Sweet Dreams and broke down in tears as she revealed her dad was in prison and unable to watch her perform. Let’s hope the X Factor will make her life sweeter.

Jade Ellis

Single mum Jade Ellis made a low-key entrance in a black jumper and skinny jeans but stunned the entire panel with Something Good by Maverick Sabre. She works in a bike shop and told the panel she was doing the show to be able to buy a house with a garden for her daughter. If she keeps singing like that she’ll be able to afford a mansion!

Tammy Cartwright

Belting out Jennifer Hudson’s hit One Night Only, the 35-year-old care worker had the judges wondering why she’d never done anything with her talent. Her grandmother came on stage, predicting she would be ‘brilliant’, and she certainly was. Could this be the year we have a winner from the Over 25s category?

Madeleine Wilson

If Madeleine surprised the panel by revealing she attended school with Tulisa, she amazed them with her take on It’s A Man’s World. She seemed shy when she first got on stage but turned into a different person when singing. She’s a born performer. Also, her glamorous red lipstick worn with a sleeveless red top  is a hot look!

Salena Mastroianni

Salena’s a professional wedding singer and it shows! Her performance of Lady Marmalade was perhaps one of the best in the entire series. Gary Barlow was left open mouthed and it was a yes from the three other judges too.  With a gorgeous figure and big brown eyes, Salena is the whole package and I reckon she’ll be in the top 10.

Are you excited about bootcamp stages next week? I’ll be back with more X Factor gossip about the contestants that get through.

We cannot wait for bootcamp next week! We’d be so sad to see Jade go! Do you have any other favorite participants apart from these?
