There is nothing more rewarding that baking for those who would really appreciate it.

It’s my parents’ 40th Wedding Anniversary in November, so I suspect the family will have one of our infamous ‘Weeks of Cake’. My sisters, nieces and I would make a variety of cakes to celebrate, including of course some ruby red cupcakes with edible red glitter for added Ruby Wedding sparkle. My mum is the one who taught us all to cook and bake properly, and my nieces (aged 3-11) love to bake as much as they love to eat the results. The Week of Cake would continue with various connotations of chocolate cake, including guinness and dark chocolate cake, devils food cake, and the very naughty flourless chocolate sponge. Plus I may have to attempt a few more innovative recipes – bacon and dark chocolate cookies is one I’ve been meaning to try!

I’d make delicious melt in the middle salted caramel chocolate soufflés (they are super easy and quick to make, and would be even easier with the world’s most fabulous mixer- the Kenwood Kmix.)

You need: 6 eggs, one cup of flour, one cup of sugar, a tablespoon of water, a big tub of whipping cream or double cream, 3 family sized bars of semi-sweet chocolate, kosher salt or sea salt and 250g of butter.

Preheat the oven to 150 Celsius.

For the caramel- Add sugar and a little water to a frying pan and heat until it turns a dark golden colour and bubbles ferociously. Cool for a while, then add to your Kenwood kMix and pour in the whipping cream. Mix this with your Kenwood kMix. Refrigerate if required.

For the cake- Whisk together 3 eggs plus 3 egg yolks in your Kenwood kMix (which has a whisk bowl too!). Add the flour and sugar and beat in your Kenwood kMix (another really useful feature!). Melt butter and chocolate together and mix with Kenwood kMix.

Now, half fill each ramekin dish with cake, add a spoon of caramel, sprinkle with salt and fill to the top with cake. Bake in the oven at 150 Celsius for 35 minutes. Baking is so quick easy with a Kenwood kMix.

What I lack in ability, I make up for in enthusiasm. I would love this mixer. I only have a hand blender with one “spoke” thingy as I stood on the other one when it accidentally pinged out when I was whisking something. However think of if you added some great photos or videos to
give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and video clips, this website
could undeniably be one of the most beneficial in its
niche. Terrific blog!

The mousepad is thick enough to allow for a comfortable
