This Week in Fashion: Prints Charming

This Week In Fashion we are looking at the Print trend.  We have seen Prints continue to dominate the catwalk this season and with so many different styles there is something out there to suit everyone.  Lets take a look behind the scenes of this weeks shoot!

The first look of the day focuses on 70’s inspired Optical Pattern.  Here I paired this Love Label Paisley Jacket and Cropped Trouser together and to finish the look added a Coleen Scarf Print Blouse.  The clashing print on print is reminiscent of the Miu Miu and Prada Autumn/Winter catwalk shows and a great way to wear print for the new season.  Remember to keep the print small and wear clothes with clean lines if you are wearing it top-to-toe.  I added the Love Label Block Heel Court Shoe to further give that retro feel.

For the next look we took on Digital Inspired Prints.  Here I used the Love Label Mono Print Dress and layered with the Motel Cut Out Backless Dress.  This is a great way to get two different looks from one dress.  The modern prints and shapes of both the dresses bring the print trend bang up to date! When layering this type of print avoid wearing top-to-toe and get those pins out!

The third and final look of the day is Winter Florals.  I paired this South Printed T-shirt Tunic with the Love Label Floral Print Jeans.  Wearing a dark coloured floral is not only a fab way to take your floral prints into winter but it is brilliant for disguising the parts of us we want to distract attention from! For ladies with a larger chest opt for a darker colour on top, as seen here, or wear on the bottom half to slim a curvy bottom and hips.

So whether you opt for the print double dip or a simple winter wardrobe update, the Print trend has it all. Big blooms, Optical patterns and Digital prints…check out the trend video in full and pick up a print today!
