Very Blog: Win at Cosmo Blog Awards!

Last night, I was invited to the 2012 Cosmopolitan Blog Awards in association with Next, along with 170 bloggers held at the Rose Club in London.  So I took the lovely Jess who works on our Buying Team and off we trotted with our Salon Confidential Hair Extensions in, me in my Lipsy Peplum Dress and Jess in her South Peplum Dress (peplums are great for curves and hide your tum don’t you know!).

When we arrived we were treated to Ciroc Vodka and Mahiki Coconut Cocktails and canapés and got some glitter star tattoos by Vita Liberata that were also at VFestival in August so we just had to get some more!  Jess also had her makeup done.

Lash Perfect and Elemis were also there providing manicures and lashes but we already had ours done back inLiverpool!   There was a DJ and the atmosphere was on fire!

With over 35,000 entries we were soooooooo happy to win the award for Best Brand Blog and I couldn’t get to the stage quick enough! The lovely Cosmo UK’s Editor, Louise Court, introduced the awards along with Cosmopolitan.co.uk’s web editor, Pat McNulty.

All the winners and highly commended received a special Cosmo Blog Award illustration by the incredible Parisian illustrator and fashion designer Coco, plus a Next goody bag with lots of goodies.

We were up against 27 other brands that were also shortlisted for the award.  We think everyone who was shortlisted are equally as FAB but we were sooooo happy to take the award back to Very HQ in Liverpool.
