X Factor Live Show Week Three: Club Classics

It was a clubby, cheesey and dance-filled week on the X Factor for the third live show, but as usual there was some drama. Kye Sones, who has previously been one of the favourites, ended up being in the bottom two and almost went home. This would have meant that judge Gary Barlow would have only had one act remaining in the over 28s category and he was NOT happy. Straight after the show Gary flounced home – it was yet another tantrum for the ex Take That star -and he’s feeling the pressure.

Kye’s definitely in the top 5 of controversial subjects this week. Here’s some exclusive behind the scenes gossip about the other acts we’re all talking about this week.

Jade Ellis

The pressure is affecting Jade Ellis as she’s getting ill. Partly due to over-practice she’s developed nodules on her throat and it was so bad she couldn’t even talk let alone sing for three whole days. On the live show she sang Free by Ultra Nate and pulled it off, mainly because she had time to work on her choreography and outfit. It was choreographer Brian Friedman who chose her pink dress and metallic belt. Good work, Bri!

Rylan Clark

For once, Rylan didn’t end up in the bottom two, which may mean he is starting to win over the public. His mash-up of J.Lo’s On The Floor and Rihanna’s Please Don’t Stop The Music was certainly unique and he paused half-way through to say he was sorry for his behaviour. During the week, he’d turned to alcohol to cope with the pressure and ended up being thrown out of his hotel for drunken behaviour. At one time, he flashed his bottom to the whole of the hotel. He definitely needed to give that apology!

Lucy Spraggan

Lucy has also had a tough time since the show started and was involved with Rylan’s drunken antics. Her mentor Tulisa is so worried she’s issued a warning – get in shape or get out. It looks like Lucy listened as her rendition of David Guetta’s Titanium was spot on and she sailed through to the next round. She also seems a lot smarter than usual in her formal jacket and ponytail, this girl means business.

Union J

Union J cemented their place as this year’s One Direction by getting a standing ovation for Kelly Rowland’s hit When Love Takes Over. While some of the contestants seem to be getting more nervous, Union J seem the most chilled out. Every day, they stop to sign autographs for fans outside their hotel, pose for photos and sign things. The hysteria among the teenage girls has started already!

So now 10 acts remain as we waved goodbye to urban MK1 this week. Who do you think will go next?
