Makeup artist, Nancy Spencer from our This Week In Fashion shoot tells us how she got the hair and makeup look of our gorgeous model Grace.
For the perfect no-fuss, day-to-night hair try a fabulous fishtale plait. Part your hair on the side and sweep round to one side. Set hair with Remington Jumbo Rollers for volume and shine and remove after 20mins. Next part the ponytail into two sections.Take a small piece from the left hand section and bring it over to meet the righthand section. Then take a small piece from the righthand section and bring it over to join the lefthand section. Repeat until you reach the end of the ponytail. Massage the plait to create a cool undone finish.
Create a perfect frame for your face by making your brows a statement. Use a small brow brush to comb them outwards and upwards for a bushy effect. Use the pencils in the Rio eyebrow perfecter kit to fill in any gaps between hairs and to extend the brow if needed. Finish by applying the pale highlighter eyeshadow under the arch of your brow to lift.
Add extra moisture to dry winter skin with Skin Doctors Capillary Clear to diminish broken veins and chapped skin. Use a liquid foundation such as Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation to keep your face plump and flawless at the same time. Apply YSL Touche Eclat under the eyes to disguise any shadows. Add some subtle contour with Barry M blusher in Peach 7 swept under your cheekbones. Use Daniel Sandler Billion Dollar Body Shimmer as a glow on the tops of the cheeks and down the centre of the nose.
Use Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer to prime eyes, follow with the midtone eyeshadow from Rimmel Traffic Stopping Eye Trio – Over the limit to give definition up to the socket. Blend the darker tone under the lower lashes. For a subtle smokey look, smudge Daniel Sandler Waterproof Eyeliner – Brown along the top and bottom lashes. Curl lashes to open eyes and finish with Barry M lash modelling mascara to create a gorgeous wide eyed finish.
Soften lips and protect them with Nivea luscious lips. Add a gorgeous simple shine with a hint of colour using Daniel Sandler lip shine in Cherub.
