Spring Trend – Print on Print

If you hadn’t realised already, one of the biggest trends this Spring is Prints! I’m talking about mass prints! Print on print on print and on print! Thats a lot of PRINT! Florals, checks, graphic and digital, you name it, you should wear it.

Catwalk leaders Louis Vuitton sent models down the runway in bright checked prints, head to toe and Isabel Marant models were dressed in casual oversized leaf prints. We at Very are very fond of trends as we know how important it is to keep on the fashion pulse and stay on trend. We’ve just had a big spring drop and guess what? we have LOTS of print!

Here are my favourites. Love Label Pattern Intarsia Jumper, gorgeous when worn with a pop of colour. Love Label Animal Print Pac a Mac, this will be fab for all those festivals ahead! Love Label Jewel Floral Printed Denim Gilet, this will be perfect if you want to ease yourself into the trend. Pop this on over any outfit for instant fabulous print.

 Tips on wearing print ?

Prints can be tricky, depending on your body shape, there are a few little rules I can share though. If you’re petite you can afford to buy larger more oversized prints and vice versa, if you’re a voluptuous sexy lady, opt for smaller more refined prints. Wearing print from head to toe can be quite daunting, just make sure the colours don’t clash i.e if your wearing a neon pink print top, team it with some neutral print to strike a balance. Avoid wearing bright print on the bottom or else it may look rather sickly, only kate moss would be able to rock that, but then again, she would look great in a bin bag! Life’s not fair sometimes! So there was a couple of small rules, but there’s one rule we SHOULD be breaking this season and it’s the type of print. Clash your prints, i.e wear a stripe trouser with a checkered shirt, a floral skirt with a stripy top and so on, this kind of clashing is so now!

My favourite member of Girls Aloud is definitely Kimberley Walsh as she is the most down to earth out of the band and has stayed the same throughout the fame. I would love to win tickets to the Liverpool Echo Arena show on the 20th March as I never win anything and it would make my year!!!! Xx
