The OK! magazine summer party gave a new meaning to the word fierce as the party was held in a zoo! Oritise Williams from JLS looked so stylish in a suit and as he arrived with his girlfriend Amy Jane I thought (briefly) that I was at a wedding. They do make a sweet couple, don’t they?
The event was full of familiar faces as Michelle Heaton from Liberty X, the Honeyz and profesional ice skater Matt Evers partied near to the tiger enclosure at London Zoo. The weather wasn’t the best for a summer event but the thrill of being near to such majestic animals heated things up a bit. In this blog post I have picked the top three stories from the night. Firstly, I have to say Michelle Heaton looked lovely in her flattering pencil skirt, which hugged her gym bunny body to perfection.
I saw a very similar bright pencil skirt at Very, the South Ponte pencil skirt It is such a flattering shape!
Michelle was flying solo at the event so I asked where her husband Hugh was. The poor thing was working, doing his day job as a fitness instructor. Bless! In his honour, Michelle resisted the temptation of the free bar and stuck to mineral water. Could she be pregnant?!
Secondly, another couple looking loved up were Louise Thompson and Andy Jordan from Made in Chelsea
They went through a rocky time in the last series of the reality tv show because she spent the night at One Direction star Niall Horan’s house but they looked to have put their troubles behind them at the zoo. Her coloured trousers were pretty incredible, a very good choice as the event was outside and it was chilly.
But third, the person that made the most effort in dressing for the zoo theme was their Made in Chelsea co-star Cheska Hull. I adore her zebra print maxi dress. It’s just wild!
Cheska revealed to me she’s just launched her own PR company, Chicken Pie PR, so she’s not just a pretty face. Also, it makes a change from the never ending list of reality tv celebs that launch fashion labels and I like the fact she’s going in her own direction. I hope she does well. Maybe next year her PR company will be organising the OK! party!
The only question is how can you top a party held in a zoo?
