your ultimate guide to FESTIVAL FASHION

Wow the crowds with this years festival show-stopping outfit!  Whether you’ll be dancing in a muddy field or partying in the sunshine, with V-Festival just around the corner its time we looked at the only thing that really matters to a festival fashionista, what to wear!!

Focusing on the three big festival trends of the season planning your outfits needn’t be a problem, Woodstock, Rave or Grunge-Girl, there is something to suit everyone.

I am in LOVE with all things 90’s so Grunge-Girl has to be one of my personal favourites.  Its all about less is more, effortless style with a cool edge.  Think black tones, metal details and 90’s parkas.

Here the models wear some of the key festival pieces, Hunter Wellies…check!  Bowler hat…check!  Fringed bag…check!  Its adding those little details that can really pull your look together.  Beth wears Love Label Studded Playsuit, not only a cool look but a great space saver on the packing front!  Add the Fearne Cotton Parka and mandatory Stretch Festival Bangles and the look is complete!

Pair with Mira and her Love Label Leopard Print Skirt and Love Label Lace Print Tunic and the girls are ready to go!  Keep the top half slouchy to pull of that effortless style.  Add a Statement Necklace and compulsory Sunglasses and your up-to-date take on 90s grunge is done!

For a complete change maybe Woodstock is right down your style-street.  Channel your inner hippy with this folk-inspired girly look! Think tan leather, fringing and crochet details.

Beth wears one of the biggest festival trend pieces of the year, the Kimono!  This Love Label one is a particular favourite of mine, the delicate fabric gives it a real vintage-vibe yet it is modern and lightweight at the same time, a definite festival must-have!  Pair with the Love Label Lace Top and Love Label Scalloped Edge Shorts to complete the look, add the Love Label Studded Tan Sandal to achieve that 70’s feel.

Mira wears the Fearne Cotton Lace Detail Dress, this is a great easy-to-wear festival piece.  The loose swing style is great for all shapes and sizes, keeping you cool in the sunshine and still looking fab when layered up with a jumper or denim jacket for the cooler evenings!  Add the fringed bag and tan ankle boots for a real Boho feel.

Finally, when the nights draw in and the glow sticks come out, there is only one look you should be wearing, Rave!  Release your inner Rave-Girl this season, think neon-brights, tie-dye and hints of metallic.  Coloured hair and sunglasses a necessity obvs!!

The matching Love Label Peplum Top and Shorts worn by Mira will really make you stand out in a crowd.  The neon colour and pattern detail make for an eye-catching look.  Shorts are a great festival piece, easy-to-wear and brilliant to avoid any embarrassing moments when falling over in the mud!  Add the Neon Metallic Statement Necklace and dip-dye satchel to finish.

Beth wears Love Label Neon Sleeve Detail Top paired with Love Label Crinkly Metallic Skirt.  A great easy-to-wear piece that will make you stand out from the crowd.  Add a denim shirt tied round the waist for a more casual feel.  To complete the look, add a pair of Doc Martens Boots and rave into the night!

So whether you are feeling girly, grungy or just down right ravey Very have it covered!!  With your festival looks sorted all you need to worry about is who to see next!  Very HQ are going to be heading down to V-Festival to join in the fun, so if you want some more style tips make sure Very are on your festival radar!
