The Love Label brand is absolutely perfect for the Christmas Party season. If you’re a shorts and party top girl then I spotted some stunning velvet shorts, if you like dresses you’ll see shirt dresses and flattering skater dresses and if you like a bit of a bold print or a statement embellishment then you’ll be very happy. How do I know this? I attended Love Label’s Christmas Treats party, where a whole lot of bloggers, celebs and celebrity stylist popped in to check out the new range and enjoy a spot of pampering. I mean, with all the Christmas parties on right now you need to look after yourself so you can keep up the glamour until 25 December.
As soon as I entered the party, which took place in London’s Soho, I saw former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh – the wife of chart-topping rapper Professor Green. Millie, who is a model for Love Label, is sporting the ombre faux fur coat and looks so warm and cosy. Keeping warm can be stylish!
I took my chihuahua puppy Zizzi to the event because she’s a very curious dog when it comes to fashion. Her favourite colour is pink but she loves helping me shop and if she likes an item she will make it known. If she’s not interested she’ll wiggle and try to escape but look at how calm she is in the photo below.
Calm and relaxation was the theme of the night as the celebs like Millie and stylist Electra Formosa enjoyed pampering treats like eyebrow threading, eyelash enhancements, nail art and a blow dry bar. Zizzi wanted her hair done but the hairdressers said she was too small and gave her a cuddle instead!
The nail artists were in high demand. With so much on in December, a lot of people haven’t had time to take care of their nails properly so it was a nice touch by Love Label to have a nail bar inside their party.
By doing all this, Love Label showed they have attention to detail and that is reflected in their clothes as well. I wanted most of the items on show but these are my top three:
Above is the Love Label 3/4 sleeve print dress. What I like about this is the print (obviously) but also the fact that the hem line is cut like a shirt so it looks more edgy and less formal than a traditional sleeve dress.
Below is the zip cross back PU trim playsuit. I love how the leather and zips brighten up the look. They’re subtle but when you get up close, it really makes a difference.
And finally, I just couldn’t pick one top item from the rail below so I wanted to show you them all. The one on the left is the sleeveless printed blouse – it’s such a vibrant print and when you touch it it’s silky soft because it’s sheer. Divine!
I’m definitely feeling in the festive spirit after attending this party. Are you feeling Christmassy yet?
