Fearne About Town ♥

Last week we were so excited to be shooting on Portobello road with Fearne in her latest range for Very.co.uk. The day started off by scouting out some fab landmarks to use as a backdrop to shoot against and there were too many shop fronts to choose from!

The quirky, worldly and eccentric street offered up the most fun props for us to play with, such as the set of ladders we had Fearne scaling to the Aztec graffiti wall in an almost exact match to her printed trousers – it must have been fate!

We set up camp in a portable studio where Fearne was primped and pampered in hair and make-up and dressed in her first outfit, her floral print swing dress with yellow lined sleeves (want, want, want!). The first location was our very own floral market stall which was extremely apt when Fearne stepped on set in her floral dress; the candy striped stall was creating a bit of a buzz with the locals all stopping to see what was happening.

We had so much fun as the afternoon flew by moving further down the street stopping to play with Coco the boarder terrier pup who starred in the Portobello Prints shot (too cute!) and we all wanted pink Vespa’s so bad by the end of the day, although we doubt we’d look nearly half as cool as Fearne does casually perched on the side wearing her snake print skirt, matching top, Leather biker and super suave shades, so Michelle Pfeiffer circa Grease 2 dontcha know!

Our ultimate favourite look from the shoot was Fearnes ‘Fern’ print swing dress, it is such an easy shape to wear and would look so adorbs in summer with some high-tops, or if you’re anything like Fearne you’ll be whizzing around on some vintage skates!

Never the less, we recon the shots turned out A M A Z I N G and cannot wait to get our mitts on Fearne’s new clobber! – so keep an eye out around the 17th of April for these beauties!
