Introducing Very’s Neon Brights Trend

Everyone at Very HQ knows I’m doing up my house, largely because I won’t shut up about it. All I’ve been able to talk about for roughly a year is paint, wallpaper, accent colours and light fittings. Seriously. But it’s a lot more fun than it sounds (honest!) and I’m now up to doing up my home’s small-but-perfectly-formed back yard.

So imagine my manic (not at all scary for my colleagues) delight that Very were launching a home trend for gardens. The Neon Brights trend gives your garden, yard, balcony, or even conservatory a vibrant pop of colour for a happy, energised space. Better yet, you don’t need to have proper green fingers to make it work!

Neon Brights 1Gardens in summer are for entertaining so start with a vividly bright table and chairs set that will allow you to have dinner or drinks in the sunshine. A foldable one is fab if, like me, you only have a small space as you can tuck it away when it’s not in use. You can make things extra pretty for your guests with fun ornaments that will lend colour and personality. Try the watering can wind chimes or the teapot planter to give your yard or garden a vintage twist.

Neon Brights 2If you are going to be serving food, it doesn’t have to be BBQ burgers on paper plates. Invest in a great dinner service that you can use indoors as well. Patterned dinnerware is really on-trend at the moment, so this collaboration between Denby and Monsoon will give you something that’s really hot right now, but will last for years. It looks spot on for summertime dining too. Don’t forget that a throw is a great garden purchase as well. In snappy colours it can liven up your garden chairs, or even act as a picnic blanket on your lawn.

Neon Brights is all about having fun outdoors and giving your garden a new lease of life, no matter how big or small it is. Remember you can shop the whole trend from our handy hub so get over there and, remember, the brighter the better!
