October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and to make sure that everyone knows it’s coming Ashley James from Made in Chelsea (above left) hosted a party and asked her TV presenter pal Zoe Hardman of Take Me Out Extra fame to DJ. There were also dances from women and men in pink and purple body paint, pink drinks and pink flowers decorated across the popular celeb restaurant Gilgamesh. If there was ever an event that put fun into fundraising, this was it.
In October, there will be thousands of events and promotions across the UK to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer and the idea of it is that everyone can get involved. Whether it’s in a small way by checking your own breasts and reminding loved ones to do the same, or by baking cakes or doing a sponsored event, there are lots of ways to show support. Cancer affects anyone, even celebrities, which is why Ashley hosted the party. Here’s who attended:
Ashley co-hosted the party with her fashion stylist friend Nick Ede and looked gorgeous in a pretty skirt. The aim of the party was to celebrate feminity.
The Capital Xtra radio DJ is one to watch out for. She’s got some TV projects in the pipeline and she’s certainly got the face and body for TV, hasn’t she? I loved her pretty co-ordinating skirt and top.
The Take Me Out Extra presenter, looking cosy in a faux fur coat, is preparing to pick up the role again alongside co-star Mark Wright in the next couple of months. In the meantime, she’s DJ-ing and showed off impressive skills behind the decks at the party.
The Good Morning Britian TV presenter says taking part in the TV show Splash has changed her life. She recently went on holiday and got a scuba diving qualification, which is impressive given that she could barely swim before the show.
