Rochelle Humes Attends #VeryOnTrend Catwalk Show

How do you mix and match outfits? Do you prefer colour blocking with contrasting hues or are you more matchy matchy? I’m constantly watching how other girls look for fashion inspiration, which is why I love London fashion week. We have an excuse to stare!

Very is taking part in Cosmopolitan magazines #FashFest during London fashion week, which is a 5 day programme with affordable fashion every night. Yesterday I write a blog about lingerie trends and today it’s all about the Very Trend clothes. The catwalk show started in style with an introduction from stunning Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes.

It’s Rochelle’s collection you can see at the top of this blog post. I particularly loved the bright floral crepe trousers and matching top on the far right, which is new-in. The embroidered orange long sleeve dress, second from left, is a sneak preview of what’s to come!

Aside from this there were five key trends – Dark Blooms, Winter Pastels, Boho Chic, 60s Siren and Party Time. Here’s a bit on each:

Party Time

After Rochelle’s collection, this was my fave look. The girls were bold and proud. The Lipsy foil wax lace dress, second from left, is stunning!

Dark Blooms

We don’t have to stop wearing florals just because the sun’s gone in! What I like about these new items is they’re more sophisticated than lighter shades of floral, especially the Definitions printed peplum top and pencil skirt on the right.

Winter Pastels

If you’re looking for smart outfits now it’s Back To Work season then you won’t be disappointed. It’s great to layer a pastel pencil skirt with a coat in a different shade of pastel. However, I especially loved the South short fur coat on the right!

Boho Chic

Boho is so on trend right now! It’s all about the print and the detail. The Love Label leather jacket on the left actually has fringe details on the arms.

60s Siren

This look is all about keeping it simple and chic in black and white. What I like about this one is it’s so easy to wear. The look on the left is a coatigan – a cross between a coat and a cardigan!

Which one did you like the look of the most? Why not get out your comfort zone and try something brand new?
