Wrap up in style… Vintage style!

Dust off your faux fur and pull out your woollens – Autumn is well and truly here and winter is just around the corner! Just because you have to layer up doesn’t mean you should compromise on feeling glamourous. In fact, I think I feel most fabulous wrapped up… There is something about (faux) fur collars, gloves and vintage hats that just make me feel like a Hollywood icon! In a country that has bad weather 70% of the time it is essential that you invest in a coat that enchances your outfit, not ruins it!

Lipsy Faux Fur Trim Swing Coat

Pink? Check. Fur trim? Check. This coat would make any damsel feel like a princess! Pair with some white tights for ultimate snow queen appeal. Just because the weather is dull doesn’t mean you have to only wear dark wintery colours! Spice things up by adding a bit of pastel to your wardrobe!

Myleene Klass Faux Fur Trimmed Camel Cape

Capes look fabulous layered over wiggle dresses and pencil skirts. This one is great as it’s a neutral colour meaning you can pretty much wear it with everything. I think it would look amazing worn with some tartan/plaid and some lace up boots. The good thing about fluffy collars means you don’t HAVE to wear a scarf as they collar acts like a 2 in 1. Bonus!

Savoir Fit And Flare Coat With A Faux Fur Trim

Fur trims seem to be a constant theme in my favourite coat picks! This is my perfect coat and by far the one I’d pick if I were to choose. Most of my dresses and skirts are knee length so my coat must be too. The Savoir Fit And Flare coat is reminisent of the 1950s with the nipped waist and full skirt and I just love it!
