Christmas Trends: Hunting Lodge

A little while back, I told you all about Treasure Chest, one of Very’s gorgeous Christmas home trends. Now we’re officially into Advent it’s time to show off another so I’d like to introduce Hunting Lodge, which is a festive update of our winter trend of the same name! Hunting Lodge is all about on-trend Scandi chic, with a warming side of rustic cosiness – ideal if you want to give a trendy twist to traditional Christmas decorations.

I can’t stress enough how important tartan is to the Hunting Lodge look, but you don’t have to just stick to blankets, throws and cushions. Instead, think outside the box and put some tartan on your tree with some tartan baubles that have just enough glitter for a splash of glam. Wooden textures, too add rustic charm, so work them in with these cute wooden Christmas trees or with the pinecones on this seasonal Christmas garland.

Speaking of pinecones, they should be pretty much everywhere, so as well as a garland, why not add a matching wreath and pre-lit mini tree for a natural, rustic look that evokes thoughts of winter nights curled up by a roaring fire. But you can add in some cute too, with fun ornaments like our adorable owl!

For dining, you can find everything you need at our Christmas dining hub, but you can give it the Hunting Lodge feel by adding in pretty star lights and a stunning candle centrepiece with – of course – pinecones!
