London Fashion Week Trend Roundup

London fashion week has come to an end! This makes me a bit sad as it’s been so much fun to be surrounded by fashion and famous faces 24/7 for five days non-stop. However, I’m also grateful as I’ve got so much inspiration, I don’t know how much more colours and stimulation my brain can take.

Earlier this week, I wrote a blog post about what the celebs were wearing at the shows, but today let’s have a look at some of the designer fashion we can expect to see around Autumn / Winter.

Fur And Florals Matthew Williamson

Matthew is famous for his multi-colour dresses but he’s warming it up for the British weather with some faux fur collars. Stunning!

Checks at Vivienne Westwood

There were a lot of checked skirts, jackets and dresses at Vivienne’s show. It wasn’t very glamorous, but it was full of attitude.

Black dresses and coats at Temperley London

Sophie Dahl was back on the catwalk at the Temperley London show and she looked stunning in a black coat. So did most of the models – black is the colour according to Temperley.

Boho chic at Burberry

Burberry had fringing, printed clothes and browns, bringing a bohemian, hippy vibe to London Fashion Week. I wonder if this will take off come Autumn / Winter?

LBDs at POP by PPQ

A little black dress is a wardrobe staple and POP by PPQ was interesting as there was a mind-boggling amount of different LBDs. I liked the one above with ruffles.

As fashion week closed with the Elle style awards, there was another opportunity to look at celebrity fashion. My top looks were:

Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn

Black truly is the colour right now. Cara looked super elegant in her long sleeve black dress.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley

Rosie won model of the year and looked incredible in a black mini dress. It’s clear why she won, isn’t it?

Taylor Swift

Like Scarlett Johansson at The Brits, Taylor showed that green can look good in an awards ceremony scenario. I’ve always been wary of green, but this makes me change my mind. What do you think?

Although I’m going to miss fashion week, I’m consoling myself with the fact its only 6 months til the SS16 shows in September’s London Fashion Week.
