Bank holiday weekend may be coming up, but the celebs aren’t showing any signs of slowing down! Scarlett Johansson has a film to promote, Kate Moss has modelling to do, Naomi Campbell is campaigning for charity, Vanessa Hudgens is in a play on Broadway and model Daisy Lowe is mixing modelling with partying. Jealous!
But one good thing about these stars always being on the go is that it gives us style inspiration. The celebrities get access to the outfits first, either through their stylists or through designers sending them clothes. They often have a lot to choose from so when they pull an outfit together, there’s a good chance we can learn something from it. Out of all the stars outfits’ this week, these are ones that I think we can learn the most from.
Scarlett promoted the new Avengers film on the David Letterman show wearing a white dress and a lovely contrasting beige coat. What I like about the dress, which reminds me of the South cutwork shift dress is that it’s the ultimate day to night dress – you could wear it to a daytime appointment, maybe even to the office, and definitely to a bar. The coat like the South full skirted trench coat is a classic colour for Spring and Summer.
Kate Moss is a real trendsetter so when she says wide leg trousers are cool, who are we to argue? Try the Definitions over the shoe wide leg trousers
First of all, I’m in love with Vanessa’s super cute dog. But secondly, I admire how she jazzes up a plain outfit with a statement jacket like the Oasis Fleur garden print jacket. Taking it off would completely transform her look in seconds if she had to go somewhere more conservative but if I had an outfit like this I’d wear the jacket at all times!
Naomi Campbell looked stunning in a metallic dress at a Yahoo sponsored charity event in New York. Metallic colours are sometimes seen as a Winter thing, but Naomi shows that you can pull it off all year round and look a million dollars. I like the Very tinsel pencil dress for a similar effect.
Just like Scarlett Johansson, Daisy opted for a cream dress to party in at a fashion show at the UN. There are a great selection of cream bodycon dresses that are ideal party dresses at Very right now. Two that I particularly like are the Lipsy Michelle Keegan v-neck side panel dress and the Wallis crochet dress. Just be careful not to spill food or drink down it!
Whose outfit did you like most? Whether you have day events or night-time parties planned over the bank holiday, we can take inspiration from them all.
